The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It gives a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to map out your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top commercial robot vacuum vacuums. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is built into the charging base. It can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the touch of one button. You can choose the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.

This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and also suck large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with plush or high-pile carpets however iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes this will allow it hug walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features superior filtration which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think this is a nice statement but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping feature is even better. Its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is that it lacks an additional rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but that's a small cost to pay if want one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it takes just two or three cycles even when you've got the most dirt.

As for the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less abrasive than the more powerful ones, create little noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. If it encounters the wall or a piece of furniture it gently bumps into it and then moves on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and will automatically move garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app will only alert you if something is wrong like low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.

You can also design and merge rooms to modify how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is beneficial if you have different flooring in different areas of your home or in the event that you have to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, removing debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it to.

3. Ecovacs deebot robot vacuum cleaner X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that is able to better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its modern, sleeker design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet tall and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it charges faster and can complete a cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. And it has a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris and is easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're at home. It also comes with more mopping options and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead just following a set path.

The Omni Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its mop pads that rotate to clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as powerful as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a range of features that you do not often find on robots of this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect different flooring types and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. Although these features are useful however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury, which might make it somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners need.

The mops also work well, removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor, or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
